That's how Josh Grandy (Owlectric) describes himself as a producer and DJ. Never afraid to push the boundaries, he finds solace in fusing the familiar with the unexplored. Having grown up on a wide variety of metal, hip hop, and dance music, Josh acquired a diverse range of musical influences. Today, this translates to sets where he dissects and melds together the elements of the music he loves most: melodic backdrops, driving basslines, and rhythmic vocal-hooks.

Having been an active part of the EDM scene for over a decade, Josh has had the opportunity to play everything from local renegades to night clubs and festivals. While he loves curating live performances, his passion for music goes beyond the art of mixing. As a producer, vocalist, and instrumentalist, he is always finding unique ways to express himself musically.

"For me, it's all about wanting to make people feel something. Music is powerful like that. I'm trying to express myself in a way that people can grab onto and use as a medium for their own expression. Something reciprocal... that's what I'm after.
